Interview prep, played like a duel

CapTableClash is a free, browser-based practice tool for finance interviews. Instead of a static flashcard deck, it turns the drill into a head-to-head duel: two players see the same question at the same time, both race the clock, and the faster correct answer deals the damage. Fifty health each. First to zero loses.

Who it's for

Students and early-career finance professionals prepping for interviews, whether that's investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or venture capital. If you've sat through a technical round and frozen on an EV bridge or a WACC calculation, or fumbled a keyboard shortcut in a modeling test, this is built to fix that specific kind of rustiness through repetition under real time pressure, not through more reading.

The mechanic, in one sentence

Thirty seconds a question for the Technical Interview track, fifteen for Excel Shortcut, fifty health each, and the first player to zero loses the round, exactly the way it feels to be put on the clock across a real interview table.

Under the hood it's the same engine whether you're facing a bot on the campaign ladder, a stranger in a live 1v1, or just yourself against the day's Daily Challenge: one question bank, one set of rules, no separate "easy mode" content. See the FAQ for how each mode and clock works.

A study tool, not financial advice

Every question, explanation, and scenario here exists for interview preparation and educational practice only. Nothing on this site is, or should be read as, financial, investment, accounting, tax, legal, or career advice, and none of it is a substitute for a real class, textbook, or mentor. Any firms or characters that appear are fictional and don't describe or endorse any real company or investment.
